As a System Admin with Kyndryl, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.This position is responsible for the administration of Unix and Linux server operating systems and the associated hardware. Specific operating systems are AIX, Red Hat and Solaris.The administrator will participate in and/or lead efforts to build, upgrade, migrate and update these servers. The administrator will be part of an Agile multi skilled squad, composed of professionals spread across different locations.**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**Required Technical Experdise- Solid understanding of network communication and server-client topology- Skills in the following products and technologies:- Solid knowledge in supporting the AIX, Solaris and Linux Operating System (physical and virtual machines/VMware)- Knowledge in managing environments in Virtual I/O Server- Knowledge in Shell Script- Basic knowledge in Storage SAN- Experience in Implementation and Administration of servers with System Mirror PowerHA- Advanced Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting- Proactivity and organization- Ability to communicate in English (reading and writing)- Collaborative and team work- Clear and concise communication- Performance analysis and troubleshooting- Problem Solving Skills and RCA (root cause analysis)- Advanced Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting- Automation skillsRequired Professional Skills- Proactivity and organization- Agile skills and Growth Mindset- Ability to communicate in English (reading and writing)- Collaborative and team work- Clear and concise communication- Availability to flexible work (stand-by/overtime)- Availability to work in shifts and weekends**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**English (Advanced or Fluent)Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Python, VBScript, Shell Script)- Analysis and Optimization of environment performance (capacity and performance)- Develop and implement monitoring of the environment (continuous monitoring)- Implement automatic incident resolution automations (auto-healing)- Attendance to highly complex and critical incidents and requests- Planning and execution of technical windows of high complexity and/or impact- Propose/implement improvement solutions for managed environments- Creation of runbooks and environment documentation- Participate in solution definitions/technical consulting in problem solving**Required Education**Pre-University Qualification**Preferred Education**Bachelor's DegreeKyndryl is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
