BettingJobs is excited to partner with our client, a leading iGaming operator, in their search for a Corporate Communications Director to join their team in Sao Paulo. Originally founded in 2012, our client has rapidly grown to become a prominent brand in the iGaming sector, now employing over 2,500 staff across 16 countries globally.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define local external communication objectives and implement plans aligned with business priorities.
  2. Engage with local media to amplify the company's voice.
  3. Create targeted content for diverse audiences.
  4. Plan and execute external events.
  5. Collaborate with HQ Corporate Communications to adapt global strategies for local impact.
  6. Partner with HQ Corporate Responsibility to expand Group-wide initiatives and lead local CSR strategies.
  7. Develop an annual plan to communicate Corporate Responsibility efforts locally.
  8. Drive internal communications to ensure strategic alignment and organise employee events.
  9. Manage relationships with PR, media buying, and creative agencies.
  10. Develop and implement issues and crisis management strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Self-driven, hands-on communications professional with a passion for Corporate Communications, Affairs, and PR.
  2. 15+ years of experience in multinational corporate settings, including team leadership.
  3. Outstanding communication skills in Brazilian Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
  4. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  5. Skilled at managing multiple projects with flexibility in prioritisation.
  6. Creative and resourceful in planning and executing community events.
  7. Results-oriented, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar; Master’s in related fields is desirable.
  9. Proven media expertise with a robust contact portfolio.
