Your main activities will include the configuration and programming of controllers (PAC/PLC), supervisory systems (HMI/SCADA) and DCS solutions, and participating in factory tests (FAT) and performing commissioning and startup in our customers' industrial plants. You will report to the PROCESS ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD.Understand and interpret conceptual engineering documentation, such as P&IDs, flowcharts, MCE, logic diagrams, and electrical drawings, and the architecture of automation systems and industrial networks, will be an important part of your job. You will also prepare project documentation, contributing to the development of innovative solutions. Therefore, you will always learn and grow.Your Responsibilities:The Project Technician in the Rockwell Automation Solutions team participates in the Development and Implementation phases of industrial automation projects with emphasis on the following activities:- Configure and implement industrial automation systems based on Rockwell products, mostly PlantPAx solutions- Analyze customers' engineering documentation (P&IDs, Flowcharts, MCE, Descriptives, and Electrical Diagrams)- Program Industrial Controllers (PAC/PLC) (Studio5000)- Develop Supervision Screens and HMIs (FactoryTalk View SE/ME)- Validate solution with the Customer in factory tests (TAF)- Perform the startup of the solution in the field (Commissioning/Start up)- Configure/implement industrial networks (EthernetIP)- Configure industrial equipment (Relays, drives, MCCs, HMIs, and instrumentation)The Essentials - You Will Have:- Technical course (Industrial Automation / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent)- Experience in Industrial Automation projects- Participation in complex projects in the process industry- Availability to travel and work at customer sites 50% of the time- Knowledge in industrial controller programming languages (Ladder / FBD / SFP / Structured Text)- FactoryTalk View Knowledge- Knowledge of Studio5000 (ControlLogix)- PlantPAx (DCS) Knowledge- Knowledge in Industrial Network - EthernetIPThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation projects- English - oral and written- Experience with VMWare virtualization environments- Knowledge of industrial communication networks and protocols (AS-i, DNET, CNET, and DH+)- Knowledge in legacy systems (PLC5, SLC500)- Knowledge in S88 batch systems- Advanced software (FTAsset Centre, FTHistorian, FTBatch)- Knowledge in Database (SQL)- Workbench (AADvance)- Driver's License (B)- We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, _religion, disability,_ sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, gender, gender identity or expression.
