Business Development Chief of Staff at BairesDev

We are seeking a strategic Business Development Chief of Staff to drive strategic alignment, oversee key initiatives, optimize processes, and ensure our business development organization operates with discipline and clarity. This role combines high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working directly with executive leadership to accelerate growth and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

Program and Project Management:

- Organize and run critical business development programs, special projects, and transformation initiatives end-to-end.
- Manage cross-functional workstreams, monitor progress, and remove obstacles to maintain momentum.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Review and synthesize regular reports and dashboards on pipeline performance, revenue forecasts, client engagement, and operational metrics.
- Prepare briefing materials and updates for the EVP and executive leadership.

Strategic Planning and Goal Management:

- Lead quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning processes, including goal setting, KPI development, and alignment sessions with regional and functional leaders.
- Track progress against goals, escalate risks, and drive accountability across the team.

Operational Cadence and Communication:

- Establish and maintain a regular operating rhythm, including leadership team meetings, pipeline reviews, and strategic check-ins.
- Draft internal communications, updates to stakeholders, and external presentations to ensure consistent messaging.

Leadership Support and Scheduling:

- Manage the EVP's calendar for key events, executive engagements, and client meetings.
- Oversee planning and logistics for leadership offsites, conferences, and international trips.
- Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency:
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and team processes.
- Implement systems that streamline execution, reduce friction, and enhance collaboration.

Team Alignment and Action Tracking:

- Facilitate management team and cross-functional meetings, documenting decisions, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Serve as a point of coordination between Business Development and other BairesDev departments such as Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Delivery.
- Stakeholder Management and Special Projects:
- Act as a liaison with senior advisors, external partners, and clients as needed to advance strategic initiatives.
- Lead or support special projects on behalf of the EVP, including market analysis, M&A assessments, and operational improvements.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years in a Chief of Staff, Business Operations, Program Management, SDR, Marketing, or similar role supporting senior leadership in a complex organization.
- Comfort level with financial and performance data analysis.
- Experience in business development, sales operations, or strategic project delivery within the technology or professional services sector (Highly Desirable).
- Advanced level of English.
