Overview

The Smart Product Manager will be responsible for driving the success of the company’s smart SoC product line across the LATAM region. This role involves managing the full product lifecycle — from concept and market analysis to launch, growth, and end-of-life — while aligning with customer needs and market trends. The Smart Product Manager will collaborate closely with local sales teams, distributors, HQ, and ecosystem partners to promote products, win new projects, and ensure competitive positioning in the market. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of SoC technologies with strategic product management expertise to achieve significant sales growth and deliver solutions that meet evolving customer and market demands.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the local sales team and distributors to promote smart SoC products, expand the customer base, and drive significant sales growth.
  • Work with the HQ team and other supporting teams to evaluate customers' project requirements and prepare proposals with the sales team to design and win new projects.
  • Manage the product lifecycle end-to-end, including evaluation, initialization, development, NPI, MP, EOL management, and training for local sales and distributors.
  • Monitor market, customer, and competitor insights; define requirements for new products to fit market needs; analyze performance and cost competitiveness and provide input for internal product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Support sales managers on major customers or key projects, and collaborate with ecosystem partners to build and maintain partner relationships.
  • Other duties as the business requires.
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, electronics, computer science, or related majors.
Skills
  • Familiar with SoCs (Qualcomm, MTK, NXP, Nvidia, Rockchip, TI, Broadcom, etc.); relevant experience in SoC-based mobile phones, tablet computers, SBCs, and various cellular communication IoT devices; familiar with Android OS, Linux OS, Ubuntu OS, etc.
  • Experience with ODM in the IoT industry is a strong asset.
  • Fluent in English
  • Willing to travel in LATAM countries.
  • 3–5 years of software or hardware development experience.
  • More than 3 years of project or product management experience.
