Job summary
We are seeking an experienced commercial executive to join our fast-growing Prime Video Global Sports team, to lead rights acquisition and programming execution in Latin America. You will lead the build-out of our sports offering as well as support existing partnerships.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the identification, negotiations and execution of key Sports opportunities in Latin America
- Build a roadmap for the group and to establish a playbook across Amazon stakeholders
- Develop and implement Prime Video's live sports content strategy in key countries in Latin America
- Optimize programming of properties including identifying optimal experience for customers, structuring ancillary content and broadcast materials, and partnering with stakeholders to execute
- Lead rights negotiations with sports rights-holders to deliver the optimum business outcomes including cost, access, content coverage, marketing and other areas of support
- Build and manage relationships with rights-holders and associated sporting organizations
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships
- Collaborate closely with colleagues including local PV leaders, rest of the Sports team and broader functional areas across Amazon Prime Video to successfully acquire, launch and manage sports properties
- Maintain a can-do positive attitude and a willingness and flexibility to solve problems at short notice
- Experience with "start-up" environment and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Strong sense of accountability - own the consequences and strive to not make the same mistake twice
- Good judgement with an analytical mindset, in order to focus on core business levers and objectives
- Sense of ownership and ability to work autonomously, while ensuring transparency and excellent communication with stakeholders
