**About you**:
The **Financial Manager** will lead the LATAM accounting and financial reporting. This position reports to the LATAM Regional Director and Americas Controller, and Compass LATAM Financial Director, and will leverage their strong financial and accounting skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, hospitality, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and HR), to promote financial best practices in line with Compass standards and our client's Food expectations.
**The great things you'll do**:
Financial governance of the LatAm region
Work closely with and establish alignment with country MDs and Financial directors
Preparation and maintaining the operating budget
Preparation and maintaining the forecasting process
Maintain and reinforce all accounting policies and standards consistently
across the account
Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
Review accounts receivable on a weekly basis
Review weekly/monthly accruals and allocations and provide back up accordingly
Communicate site issues/concerns to operations management
Responsible for the preparation of Weekly and Monthly financial summary reports to unit management and leadership groups
Maintain on a weekly basis the client consolidated budget roll up tools
Assist with annual and on-going budget support (training, questions) for managers and chefs and review budgets by location with Executive Leadership team
Assist with proformas for new cafés/programs
Assist with achieving Cost Neutral Catering Model
Provide support for client vendor payment systems
Ensure invoice process has proper checks and balances
Review weekly audits of orders vs. invoices to ensure correct vendor payment
Respond to vendor inquiries as needed
Assist storage operations
Storage functionality and cost control
Receiver training and development
Other financial projects as needed
Written and verbal proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus
4 year college degree in Business/Accounting and/or 10 years of experience is required
Strong partnership skills
Ability to influence in a matrixed organization
Able to dynamically and creatively problem solve
Adept at managing multiple client and internal requests and deadlines
Able to shift priorities for self and team on short notice
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
Proficient in Google Docs products including Sheets, Docs, Slides and GMail
Approximately 20% travel is required
