Employer Industry: Financial Services Why consider this job opportunity Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Bonus eligible and comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellbeing options Up to 4% matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (10% share discount) Paid time off and paid volunteer time Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance Chance to make a positive impact on public policy and community relations Responsibilities Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop a community and customer-oriented policy agenda Co-lead the management of the Political Action Committee (PAC) and oversee reporting requirements Advocate for innovation, access to credit, consumer choice, and financial wellness Represent the employer in navigating political, legislative, and regulatory landscapes at all levels Monitor and analyze state legislation and regulations, providing timely updates to senior officials Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in public policy, advocacy, and/or government affairs Proven ability to work with officials, regulators, legislators, and policymakers to achieve strategic outcomes Team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration Experience in the financial services industry is preferred Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically Preferred Qualifications Experience working within the financial services sector and familiarity with government relations principles Demonstrated success in managing relationships with industry and community groups We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
