Key job responsibilities
**Solution Architects Managers have 4 main responsibilities**:
1. Be a Customer Advisor. In partnership with the account team, formulate and execute a strategy to enable customer success. Help customers make the best use of AWS Cloud. Cultivate relationships with technical and business leaders on your customers' teams.
2. Be an Organizational Leader. Determine where to simplify, optimize, or extend your team's efforts to result in the best outcomes for the business and your customers. Coach and enable your team to collect feedback from customers and translate that feedback into clear business and technical requirements.
3. Be a People Manager. Define the hiring strategy for your team. Develop and coach your team. Identify future leaders on your team and mentor them. Build a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity within your team, creating a space for diverse perspectives and collaborations. Challenge team members and yourself to disconfirm unconscious biases.
4. Be an Operational Excellence Manager. Define your team's goals and contribute to defining the goals of your organization. Maintain a regular cadence of inspection of your team's work. Accelerate progress for your team by creating or optimizing mechanisms and processes.

- 4+ years' experience with Systems Administration, DevOps engineering, Data Analytics and Machine Learning, Network Administration, IT Security, Systems Architecture or other technical discipline.- Experience architecting/operating cloud.- AWS certifications are not mandatory but are a plus.- Experience with Healthcare or Education verticals.
