As the Moderation Business Analyst, you will be the data cornerstone for the global moderation team, transforming complex operational data into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the core data infrastructure that enables efficient content policy enforcement and drives operational excellence across our E-commerce platform. Roles and Responsibilities Design and structure the core data index and requirements for E-commerce Moderation, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. Develop, maintain, and automate critical data dashboards and reporting tools (core index metrics) to provide real-time visibility into operational health. Proactively monitor core index data for anomalies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions rapidly. Collaborate closely with Data Engineering (DE), Product Management (PM), Research & Development (RD), and Algorithm (Algo) teams to enhance data infrastructure and tooling, enabling moderation teams to identify problems and opportunities more effectively. Partner with regional moderation leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business challenges and analytical needs. Conduct in-depth data analysis to derive accurate conclusions, uncover strategic insights, and identify potential operational efficiencies. Develop and present clear, concise, and compelling business review reports, leveraging data-driven storytelling to influence decision-making among various target audiences (including executive leadership). Define the optimal analytical methodology for complex problems and execute end-to-end analysis with minimal supervision, from hypothesis definition to final report delivery. Minimum Qualifications Proven expertise in data querying, processing, and analysis, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business conclusions. Proven ability to craft appropriate narratives and storylines to convey key messages clearly and adapt communication style for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to define analytical methodologies and drive projects from initiation through reporting with high quality and independence. Ability to rapidly assimilate domain knowledge in new operational or policy areas. Excellent multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation, statistical modeling, and analysis. High Oral / Written proficiency in English is required for this role due to cross functional collaboration with global teams. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree (Master's or higher) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent research background. Proficiency in Python. Relevant professional experience in a global business setting, with a focus on operational or analytical roles.
