The Go To Market LATAM Strategy Manager is responsible for leading the strategic and operational execution of Haleon’s commercial plans across Latin America, ensuring that brand strategies are effectively translated into market actions that drive growth, visibility, and availability across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Trade Market/ Channel Strategies for Latam: Formulate comprehensive trade marketing plans tailored to the Latam market, ensuring alignment with the company´s regional framework. Build differentiated channel strategies with clear value propositions.
- Lead In-Store Execution: Oversee the implementation of in-store (Point of Sale) executions across the region, ensuring brand standards are consistently maintained and that promotional activities effectively engage customers.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as a liaison between sales teams, supply, distributors, and marketing departments to ensure cohesive execution of trade strategies. This involves understanding customer needs, managing distribution channels, and aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives.
- Analyze Market Trends: Conduct thorough analyses of market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth. Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize trade marketing initiatives.
- Manage Budgets and resources: Provide guidelines to efficiently allocate trade marketing budgets and resources to maximize return of investment ensuring cost-effective execution of marketing activities.
- Develop Tailored Training Programs: Assess team needs to identify skill gaps and areas of improvement. Design training modules that address these gaps focusing on key fundamentals by channel.
- Sales Force Effectiveness: Provide strategic alignment. Develop sales processes to be efficient and repeatable, allowing sales teams to focus on high value activities that drive conversations and customer satisfaction. Implement KPIs to assess effectiveness of sales initiatives ex: sales per representative, conversion rates, cost of service. Use CRM systems to provide actionable insights.
- Define Route-To-Market strategy: Target & Segmentation prioritizing growth opportunities based on market size, coverage, profitability and competitive landscape. Aligning regional strategy with brand priorities while adapting to local consumer, trade and regulatory realities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, Business Adminstration, Marketing or related field.
- 13 to 17 years of experience in Commercial, Trade Marketing and/or Marketing in the FMCG industry
- Communication, Active Listening, Negotiation, Influencing & Persuasion, Collaboration & Cross Functional Leadership, Problem -solving & strategic thinking, Adaptability and cultural sensitivity & Agility.
