Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize scalable software applications using PHP/Laravel to drive business success and improve patient outcomes. Create database schemas that represent and support business processes, ensuring high performance and reliability. Design and maintain robust APIs for internal and external use, facilitating seamless integration with other healthcare systems and third-party services. Implement and maintain robust security measures and data protection protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards, including HIPAA. Additional Expectations: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices in backend development, code review, and team collaboration. Stay abreast of new technology trends and evaluate their application to continually innovate and enhance the platform. Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software. Collaborate with designers to refine the user interface and experience, implementing responsive and intuitive front-end functionalities using modern JavaScript frameworks.
