
Marketing Analyst

As a vital member of the NBA LATAM Marketing team, this position will support the implementation of the NBA Brazil and LATAM short
- and long-term strategic marketing plan and report directly to the NBA Brazil Marketing Lead. This role will also work with the Head of Marketing for Latin America based in New York to support him on all necessary Marketing duties to implement the region's marketing strategy.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to driving progressive growth in key marketing areas: brand development, customer data strategy, paid marketing campaigns, and fan engagement aligned with OKRs
- Identify data capture opportunities to grow our database and work with the marketing lead on the execution of the CDS communication plan, liaising with NY based CDS team as well as the local agency that will execute
- Support agency with all needed briefs, creative assets, timings, and everyday communication, including localizing creative assets for local markets
- Support the LATAM Head of Marketing in New York with all needed Due Diligence processes, budget control, invoice tracking, internal and external presentations, and necessary event and content-related procedures
- Assist with digital reporting needs and deeper analysis, including top-performing content, viewer retention, and channel development
- Support roll-out of content on various social media channels - working closely with the content and GCMD teams
- Assist marketing lead with influencer content rollout - including social posts and coordination of critical initiatives
- Work with marketing lead on social media strategy and execution thereof, including preparing quarterly briefs for the agency and preparing content plans for social
- At times also manage to post and drive engagement on all owned social media channels
- Assist marketing lead with the ongoing support of the global research and insights department's initiatives
**Required Skills/Knowledge**:
- Minimum of 3 years of business experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, or data analyst roles
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns, measuring execution, and delivering and improving results
- Must have direct work experience in marketing in LATAM territories
- Excellent project management skills and expertise in devising tactical marketing strategies
- Experience briefing and evaluating communications & marketing plans
- Experience delivering analytics and reporting related explicitly to digital and social performance metrics
- Excellent command of English
- Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, GIPHY, and Tik Tok
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- A successful track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external clients
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English and Portuguese
- Support marketing lead on managing ad spend or media buying as well as ad spend analysis
- Desire to continually learn new skills and collaborate with colleagues to achieve ambitious team goals
- A creative, adaptive personality that can interface with senior-level managers across the organization
- Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, dynamic, and challenging environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Very well organized and detail-oriented, capable of simultaneously handling different projects (and their respective stages and deadlines)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline
