Role Overview We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full‑time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate will support end users, manage endpoints, automate identity and access management, and administer cloud‑based IT systems and tools. The role demands a balance of hands‑on technical work, automation, and customer support, within a rapidly growing, security‑first environment. Responsibilities Provide first‑line support to employees via Slack, Jira, and other channels. Procuring, delivering, and onboarding technology equipment for new hires; managing tech retrieval for outgoing employees. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools; contribute to knowledge base improvements. Manage SaaS applications – Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, and others. Configure and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools (MDM, EMM, Jamf). Improve identity and access tools (GSuite, Okta, SSO) and automate related workflows. Write help articles, run scripts, and automate repetitive tasks. Respond to, manage, and resolve critical incidents and issues. Prioritize help desk tickets and balance multiple projects within sprints using Jira and agile methods. Set and work toward objective and key results with minimal direction, aligning personal goals with team and company objectives. Qualifications 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Proficiency in automating with Bash, Zsh, Python, and open‑source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and creating workflows. API integration skills across systems. Remote support experience across multiple time zones and shipping/receiving hardware and customs. Excellent communication skills – clear, friendly, concise across all media. Strong writing skills for tickets, email, Slack, and documentation. Security awareness, including PGP knowledge. Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and OSI troubleshooting. Self‑management, scope projects accurately, and balance priorities across teams. Organizational and task‑management skills; comfortable with ambiguity. Nice to Haves Experience with AWS environments. Use of command‑line interfaces for GAM and similar tools.
