What You’ll Do SAP is seeking an experienced SAP Lead Basis Consultant to take ownership of Basis AMS Service delivery across a complex SAP landscape for multiple customers. The candidate needs to possess strong SAP Basis expertise, excellent communication skills, and should have led a delivery team of 10+ members. Key Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of AMS services by the team for the customer in alignment with the scope, providing support services across SAP environments including ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM, BW/4HAN Ensure SLA adherence and process compliance as per SAP standards Collaborate with other SAP teams to drive agile resolution of critical issues Guide the team on troubleshooting activities in Basis, Security and Data growth aspects of the SAP application Focus on innovation and continuous improvement; leverage AI-based automations in service delivery Quality assurance – deliverables and documentation are maintained for each service component Maintain shift rotations and oversee handovers to ensure service continuity Identify risks and prepare mitigation or response plans Prepare monthly management reporting – internal and customer Act as first point of escalation for service delivery; lead the delivery team from a Basis perspective Participate in customer calls, identify focus areas, and advise the client in critical areas Drive RCA-based approach as part of the delivery Review Service Performance Reports (Monthly), Issue Tracker & Open Items (Weekly), and Continuous Improvement Reports (Monthly) Handle complex customer discussions and follow escalation processes in service execution Understand SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery Drive continuous improvement in processes or service delivery and adoption of AI-based automation Provide customer pulse, publish SLA & KPI reports, and provide performance insights to leadership What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field Work Experience and Mandatory Skills Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, for effective interaction with global stakeholders Strong SAP Basis experience in large-scale environments In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration including HANA DB, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP landscape management Experience handling teams of 10+ consultants catering to multiple customers Knowledge about systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, CRM applications SAP Basis certification is mandatory ITIL Certification is required Service oriented mindset with proactive approach Continuous improvement and innovation mindset Please upload your resume in English.
