Senior Legal Manager - Legal Support Services At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we believe health is everything. Learn more at Responsibilities Support the Latin America Indirect Procurement team on sourcing, contracting, and risk assessment activities across HR, Facilities, Real State, Global Services, Legal, and Tax. Lead complex supplier negotiations and provide legal counsel to support high‑value transactions. Collaborate with the STORM and GLO LATAM teams to improve contracting processes, deliver legal training, harmonize templates, build playbooks, and drive process improvement initiatives. Manage secondment senior legal attorneys in Brazil and Chile and a legal intern in Brazil. Execute managerial activities in the STORM LATAM team, including efficiency projects, metrics tracking, and SLA compliance. Manage Chatbot Lexi across all LATAM countries. Communicate through quarterly regional newsletters and annual legal week training events. Act as the focal point for STORM LATAM budget management and oversee budgets for Brazil and Latin America South regions. Support implementation of electronic tools (Chat Bot Lexi, e‑Sign Platform, ticket centralization, Request Navigator, ICD) across the region. Partner with GLO and related functions such as Healthcare Compliance, Privacy, and other business units on contract‑related procurement activities. Create and organize the LATAM Innovation Committee. Required Qualifications Education: Law degree with current good standing in the bar of at least one Latin American country. Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant in‑house or major market law firm experience in areas outlined above. Languages: Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish and English. Communication: Strong written and oral communication, able to simplify complex issues, and collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. Contracting: Drafting and negotiating complex agreements (e.g., master service agreements, confidentiality agreements, consulting contracts) with excellent detail orientation and risk assessment skills. Process & Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to design and lead strategic initiatives, process improvements, and innovation. Leadership: Team leadership skills, relationship management, and a consultative style. Integrity & Motivation: Highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive in challenging situations. Preferred Skills Analytical reasoning, business agility, commercial laws, compliance management, corporate governance, dispute resolution, lawyering, litigation, negotiation, organization, process improvement, representation, strategic thinking, tactical thinking, technical credibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
