is advising one of the largest global Private Equity funds in the search for a Finance Associate to expand the team in Rio de Janeiro.Responsibilities::: Review quarterly reporting to investors and other users, including financial statements prepared under US GAAP and fund and investment performance tracking:: Review of investor Capital Account and available commitment schedules on a quarterly basis:: Actively participate in the teams interaction with various service providers to ensure information being provided is accurate and provided in a timely basis:: Preparing internal and external audit requests:: Work with auditors to complete annual audit in accordance with GAAP:: Preparing and reviewing capital calls from, and distributions to investors:: Assist with the preparation and review of fund management fees, partner allocations, waterfall and carried interest calculations.:: Assist with managing fund operations, including liquidity management, investor queries, forecasting and compliance:: Special projects & ad hoc requests as requiredMain Skills::: Bachelors degree in Accounting. CPA and/or masters degree are strong pluses;:: 2+ years of work experience, preferably in PE/VC finance and operations;:: Fluency in spoken and written English;:: Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, Offshore funds and Brazilian FIPs;:: Understanding of financial statements and tax structures as they would pertain to private equity funds and FIPs;:: Ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, to adapt quickly and to manage changing priorities;:: Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines;Interested in the job or know someone?
