Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future.***Department Overview**: The Response, Reporting & Evidence Software group delivers solutions to the public safety sector. Our products allow customers to respond effectively in mission-critical operating environments. The group is committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. Our group deploys and supports products such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), Jail Management Systems and Mobile Data Computing, among other offerings.**- Participate in formal and informal design and implementation activities producing mission critical, real-time solutions that will affect the public directly and may save lives.- Develop requirements, code and create unit and other automated testing solutions for highly available and sophisticated enterprise level systems and services.- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing technologies, priorities, and requirements.- Work with support to resolve customer issues as needed.- Participate in code reviews.***Basic Requirements**:- College background in modern software development practices, principles, and tools.- Effectively communicate and collaborate with technical team in a multi-team/multinational environment with teams spanning the globe.- Self-starter, able to understand and verbally express software development concepts in a clear manner and through the use of reports and other written artifacts.- Solid computer skills.- College student in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology and correlated areas in STEM.- Strong analytical ability.LI-AN1**Travel Requirements**: None***Relocation Provided**: None***Position Type**: Intern**Referral Payment Plan**: Yes**_ EEO Statement_**Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
