The work we do here matters.**ISSET is seeking a Software Engineer for the role of Software Development Operations (SW DevOps). The role is defined as a remote job (full time work from home), and includes the following responsibilities:- Configuration and execution of development, demo, test, lab, and production environments.- Design and documentation of system installation and upgrade processes for our software solutions.- Level 3 support for our software solutions, as requested by our Call Center organization responsible for level 1 and 2 support, during business hours only.- Provide remote support to Motorola Solutions personnel performing installations and upgrades on-site.- Development of tooling for support purposes.- Creation of documentation for training third parties on level 1 and 2 support processes.- Maintenance of the technical foundation of globally deployed servers for the implementation of our software solutions.- Design and management of software licensing, including licensing reports.- Evaluation of non-functional requirements and hardware design to meet those requirements.- Support the presales engineering organization by answering technical queries regarding team solutions.**Basic Requirements**:- Working knowledge of software testing.- Excellent knowledge of Linux (preferably RHEL), including usage, configuration, and implementation of production servers.- Knowledge of Configuration Management tools.- Experience in using and configuring Mongo and Postgres databases.- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).- Experience in using configuration management tools (preferably Ansible)- Familiarity with Docker and/or containers in general.- Experience in setting up and configuring physical servers.- Networking knowledge.- Understanding of Security configurations.- Fluency in English is essential, Spanish fluency is a strong plus.- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.- 5 or more years experience in similar roles**#LI-AN1****Travel Requirements**: None***Relocation Provided**: None***Position Type**: Experienced**Referral Payment Plan**: Yes**_ EEO Statement_**Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
