Software Development Engineer in Test (Windows)

This role is ideal for someone who excels in testing complex Windows drivers, endpoint security products, and creating sophisticated automation frameworks.

You'll be part of a dedicated team focused on protecting company data and apps on unmanaged and BYOD computers—without relying on traditional VDI solutions. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver secure, seamless experiences to users in flexible, distributed workplaces.

Responsibilities include developing automated tests, deep diving into Windows OS internals, debugging driver issues, and working closely with Win32 APIs. You will have the freedom to explore and leverage AI and advanced tooling to enhance testing strategies and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with product development teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Automate functional and non-functional tests to reduce test duration.
  • Build and maintain automation code and frameworks for kernel mode and driver mode testing.
  • Perform code reviews and white box testing to identify defects early in the development cycle.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Python, C#, C++.
  • Experience working directly with Win32 APIs.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS internals, including COM, IPC, memory management, and security.
  • Experience developing automated test frameworks for Windows desktop applications and drivers.
  • Strong debugging skills using tools like WinDbg, Process Monitor, and Windows Performance Analyzer.
Nice to have:
  • Experience in reverse engineering, disassembly, or kernel/driver debugging.
  • Knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with performance testing techniques.
  • Background in virtualization, data centers, or VM lifecycle management.
  • Experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into automation.
