**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
The SAP Ariba Business Process Consultant is charged with customer focused delivery and Ariba solution expertise. The Business Process Consultant is responsible for achieving sound, high quality deliverables on time and within budget. The Business Process Consultant has a wide experience in the sourcing, procurement and business commerce processes and deep understanding of the value of the different Ariba solutions for the customer. Business Process Consultants are focused on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class users of collaborative business commerce solutions, through innovative, high-quality, global Spend Management and Network Solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results. The Business Process Consultant does understand the commercial aspects of an engagement and feels personally responsible for delivering a successful and profitable project to the customer.
This consultant is part of an integrated team prepared to speaks Ariba (functional/Technical) to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups (e.g., client project manager, technical team).
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

- Uses knowledge of customer's business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions.
- Makes the client successful within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Influences the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of client's organizational processes and structure.
- Speaks to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels and in large or small groups (e.g. client project manager, technical team).
- Identifies and anticipates the requirements associated with a client business model.
- Makes decisions based on sound judgment under pressure and without need for referral.
- Guides customers through the design process to make decisions with full visibility into Ariba Best Practices.
- Assists customers in the development of processes and procedures, which leverage Ariba solution functionality being deployed.
- Writes solution design documents.
- Plans and manages project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget and meets quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Identifies opportunities within the engagement to enhance/improve revenue.
- Identifies and escalates project issues.
- Demonstrates influence and personal authority adapting style to manage company or cultural differences.
- Shares expertise through training and communications with customers ensuring knowledge transfer and the desired level of self-sufficiency is achieved.
- Plans and manages project tasks and resources to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction.
**BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATION**
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Accounting, Finance or equivalent ERP core knowledge areas.
- Availability to travel outside your base 50 > 80%.
- A minimum of seven (3) years consulting experience in ERP systems implementation and process re-engineering through national or regional consulting firm.
- Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management.
- Proven experience in one of these 2 Ariba lines:
- Strategic Sourcing : Sourcing, Contracts and SLP/SIPM.
- Operational/Tactical : Ariba Buying, Catalogs, Network
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational talent.
- Advanced English language: written and conversation
**EXPERT KNOWLEDGE**
- Waterfall and/or Agile Methodology.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and organizational talent. Ability to use PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions also).
- Excellent understanding of SAP solutions and of the consulting business processes and functions.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (PLUS)**
- Spanish Language
- Experience in international projects
- SAP Activate Methodology
- Certification in SAP MM or SAP Ariba is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more ERP Modules/Areas : ABAP, PI/PO, GRC NFE, GRC AC, PS, PM, FI.
- Industry focus is an asset (1-3 industries or sectors)
