As a Patient Safety Intern, you'll embark on a comprehensive training journey followed by engaging activities within our Patient Support Program. Get ready to:
**During Your Training Period**:
- Become a Fortrea expert by navigating our **internal systems** and understanding the **scope of our diverse projects**.
- Master our **internal database** and project-specific **websites**.
- Gain in-depth knowledge about the **characteristics of the medicinal products and diagnostic kits** central to our projects.
- Dive into the world of **Pharmacovigilance**, learning its fundamental concepts, historical context, and different reporting methods.
- Develop your professional communication skills through **telephone etiquette training**.
**Transitioning into the Patient Support Program, You Will**:
- Build professional relationships by **contacting physicians** registered in our projects.
- Ensure the smooth flow of critical biological samples by **scheduling and monitoring collections and deliveries**.
- Play a vital role in logistics by **assembling and dispatching kits for the transportation of biological materials**.
- Contribute to patient safety by **identifying and appropriately forwarding potential pharmacovigilance cases** to the specialized team.
- Maintain meticulous records by **updating specific reports** on timelines and pending tasks.
**What We're Looking For**:
- Currently enrolled student in **Health-related courses**.
- Expected graduation date from **2027 onwards** (allowing for at least 1.5 years of internship).
- Advanced English skills
- ** Availability to work on-site at our office in São Paulo 1 day per week.**:
- ** Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.**:
- ** Excellent communication skills.**:
- Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and patient safety.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
