Safety Specialist Role
">The Horizon Neulogy group is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional to fill the position of a Health and Safety Officer in a Hospital setting.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Oversee all aspects of Health and Safety, accident prevention, staff training, drills and inspections in a Hospital environment / work site.
- Provide quality and patient safety consulting, analysis and improvement facilitation for staff and leaders throughout the Hospital.
- Develop, implement and improve programs to establish and maintain Quality and Patient Safety standards of care provided to patients.
- Conduct research, collect and analyze internal and external data for decision making purposes.
- Ensure that goals are aligned with the Health System's Patient Safety and Performance Improvement plan, strategic priorities and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
">- Advanced proficiency in English language skills.
- Experience working in a Hospital environment or a related field.
- Certifications in HSE are essential for the role. Prior experience in Africa may be advantageous.
