We are seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The Operational Excellence Specialist will play a key role in optimizing our surge framework, ensuring that we balance cost, availability, and service quality effectively. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient operational frameworks, driving scalability and growth for our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine surge activation logic across multiple triggers, including restaurant-level, zone-level, and event-based triggers.
  • Collaborate with product and business intelligence teams to define surge eligibility rules, thresholds, and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure surge logic balances cost, availability, and service quality effectively.
  • Identify edge cases and problem patterns in various markets and develop systematic response models.
  • Benchmark industry practices and propose improvements to the current surge framework.
  • Liaise with regional and city leads to gather operational feedback and translate it into product requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain strategy, product operations, or logistics planning (food delivery, ride-hailing, Q-commerce preferred).
  • A proven track record of designing or optimizing operational frameworks, not just running them. Experience in freelance-heavy or gig-based labor markets is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with comfort working with data dashboards and basic product flows.
  • Ability to synthesize on-ground feedback into scalable SOPs and product recommendations.
