Senior AI Engineer Position

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior AI Engineer with extensive experience in software and AI/ML engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and expertise in either Golang, Node.js, or Java.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and operationalize AI-native services that transform the utility sector by designing, implementing, and deploying AI models.
  • Architect and fine-tune AI agents for utility use cases, including predictive operations, customer engagement, and energy optimization.
  • Build APIs, microservices, and orchestration frameworks that seamlessly connect AI models with enterprise systems and grid-level data flows.
  • Manage the complete AI pipeline ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation, and continuous deployment to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Address vulnerabilities unique to AI, such as model drift, bias exploitation, adversarial robustness, and hallucination control while considering regulated environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists, and security teams to integrate AI capabilities into the broader client OS, embedding AI by design into every product release.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • 5+ years of applied ML/AI engineering experience, preferably with exposure to enterprise/mission-critical systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and either Golang, Node.js, or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adapt Golang on the job).
  • Expertise with ML/LLM frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or equivalent.
  • Experience with vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and modern MLOps practices.
  • A track record of deploying AI services in production.
  • A strong grounding in cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure).
