Fx Operations Settlement

**Responsibilities**:The FX Operations Settlement senior analyst will be responsible for processing the FX transactions and act as the checker/reviewer of the payments/processes, in accordance with the local FX regulation and the internal policies. In addition to having a focus on the risk assessment inherent to the processes, it is expected that the senior analyst constantly analyze the current processes to seek improvements and automations opportunities. He/she will be the focus point of contact with the Senior Management, the clients and other internal departments. It’s also expected that this analyst leads different initiatives across the area.**Responsibilities**:To ensure the FX Operations processing activities are being completed in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with the procedures, internal policies and regulatory rules, being always updated with the legal aspects that support the processes, avoiding deviations that could compromise the franchise;- Work closely with teammates, internal stakeholders and clients to ensure all transactions are promptly processed;- To have oversight over the operational cycle of all trades and additional processes of the area (accounting, reconciliation, reports);- Engage the team in being the best for our clients (both external and internal);- To take initiative to identify potential risks and opportunities for process and controls improvement;- Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement;- Manage, escalate and resolve requests / inquiries / issues / errors and propose improvements;- Onboard new clients in accordance with operational procedures;- ** Qualifications**:- 4-6 years of FX operations experience- Banking operations experience;- Fluent in English is mandatory;- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication;- Flexibility and organization to work with tight deadlines;- Self-motivation and ability to take initiatives to identify potential risks and to implement process improvements;- Result oriented;- High level of accuracy and attention to details, including problem solving skills;- Team working skills and collaborative attitude;- Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive;**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferred- MBA/post graduate degree should be considered as a plus- **Job Family Group**:Operations - Transaction Services- **Job Family**:Cash Management- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
