Overview

Last Mile Channel Lead, Amazon Logistica. Amazon's logistics team is changing how we interact with customers globally, solving major challenges in the industry. The role focuses on managing a team of carrier management specialists, monitoring carrier performance and compliance, and coordinating weekly and 12-week operational capacity plans with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Select, train and manage carrier relationship specialists
  • Accumulate data from various sources, identify relevant data, and present it to enable action
  • Forecast implications based on current data and trends and take necessary actions
  • Be organized, proactive, and prompt in notifying and updating on situations
  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, respecting objectives, limits, conformance, and information privacy
  • Dive deep to identify root causes of operational issues
  • Create and track operational metrics
  • Be willing to work during weekends/holidays
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Employee and performance management experience
  • Previous experience in last mile transportation/account management
  • MS Office experience required, with advanced level in Excel
  • Fluent English, both oral and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or similar
  • SQL or other programming language
