Overview

Last Mile Channel Lead, Amazon Logistica. The role involves managing a team of carrier management specialists, monitoring Amazon Logistics carriers performance, and coordinating capacity planning with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a broad view of customer experience, ownership, and the ability to identify patterns and propose solutions to deviations.

Key responsibilities
  • Select, train and manage carrier relationship specialists
  • Accumulate data from various sources, identify relevant data, and present it to support action
  • Forecast implications based on current data and trends and take necessary actions
  • Be organized, proactive, and communicate situations clearly and promptly
  • Serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, respecting objectives, limits, conformance, and information privacy
  • Dive deep into root causes of operational issues
  • Create and track operational metrics
  • Willing to work during weekends/holidays
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Employee and performance management experience
  • Previous experience in last mile transportation/account management
  • MS Office experience with advanced Excel
  • Fluent English, both oral and written
Preferred Qualifications
  • Performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or similar
  • SQL or other programming language
