Responsible for all Finance operation of the Company.
Oversee IFRS Financial Reports for local management and SPE. Income Statement, balance sheet and cash flow - preparation and analysis on monthly and comparison to budgets. Monthly balance sheet review.
Oversee and control Production accounting including review show budgets, tracking, and controlling of costs against original budget.
Review local statutory reports.
Review local and IFRS tax filing.
Coordination of audits process (internal and external if required).
Responsible for financial controls and accounting procedures (IFRS).
Budget and forecasting: annual and quarterly.
Support the MD with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
Provide financial decision support to the MD & business/production teams on all financial matters
Responsible for Corporate reports required as: Annual Tax Report, SOX Internal Controls and Compliance Checklist etc.
Responsible for adherence to corporation policies, procedures for financial accounting and reporting and external requirements under IFRS and local GAAP
Interface with HR (payroll approve) and IT Departments (SAP and Mastersaf)
Interface with Sony Distribution Department
Responsible for Finance planning & strategy.
Potentially office representative, sign contract and agreements.
Effectively manage operational cash flow and cash flow forecasting to support the business needs in accordance with policy
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree in Accounting /Administration
- At least 8 years’ experience in Finance
- Experience in Production TV Industry - Scripted & Unscripted
- Fluent in English
- Legal knowledge in Production
- Good Knowledge in the legislation Brazilian tax.
- Good Knowledge in USGAAP/IFRS
- Have experience in SAP, Mastersaf and Movie Magic
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the MD and other members of the senior management team.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Review all formal finance (and occasionally HR and compliance) related procedures.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.
- Team player, as well as a confident communicator with interpersonal Skills, capable of delivering enthusiastic presentations and motivating its colleagues.
- Be adept at decision-making and adaptability.
- Be used to managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Working knowledge of film and television production finance and reporting systems
