About Digibee Digibee is an iPaaS that scales integration workflows while reducing cost and technical debt. Rather than require specialized integration experts, Digibee lets every developer quickly build, test, deploy, govern, and monitor integrations across on-premise and cloud environments using a simple but powerful low-code interface. Founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2017 and headquartered in Weston, Florida, our team is widely distributed throughout the Americas. In May of 2023, Digibee closed a Series B funding round of $60 million that is intended to drive our expansion in the United States. About the role As the Head of User Experience, you will provide strategic leadership and champion a design-centric culture focused on delivering exceptional, developer-centric solutions for enterprises. You will define and execute a cohesive UX strategy, overseeing the evolution of user experiences and design systems to ensure simplicity, scalability, and efficiency. A visionary leader and systems-level thinker, you will inspire a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, fostering continuous learning and expertise in design methodologies. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, integrating design vision into development strategies. With a deep understanding of developer needs, you will confidently advocate for user-centric practices, defend design solutions, and influence decision-making. You will actively engage the developer community, gathering insights, validating solutions, and refining offerings based on user feedback and data. As a fierce advocate for users, you are committed to creating elegantly simple experiences from complex workflows, leveraging your strong design acumen and user-focused mindset. On a daily routine you will Provide strategic leadership and vision for the UX organization, defining and executing a cohesive design strategy that aligns with product roadmaps and business objectives. Champion a design-centric culture across the organization, fostering critical thinking, creativity, user-centricity, and a focus on delivering innovative, simple, and intuitive experiences that simplify complex processes for developers. Lead and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary UX team, creating an environment that values continuous learning, growth, and the sharing of deep expertise in design methodologies, frameworks, interaction models, prototyping, and research. Oversee the evolution of design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency in UX efforts, while driving alignment and weighing the impact and trade-offs of design decisions. Collaborate closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate design vision and user experience into product development strategies and execution. Actively engage with the developer community, gather insights, discover problems, validate solutions, and continuously refine product offerings based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights. Confidently defend design solutions and advocate for user-centered design practices, leveraging data, customer insights, and a deep understanding of developer needs to influence decision-making. Foster an environment of big-picture thinking and continuous improvement by leading brainstorming, critique sessions, and identifying opportunities to drive quality and efficiency within the team. Represent Digibee as a thought leader in the design community, showcasing the company's design innovation and leadership at industry events, conferences, and broader forums. What you'll need to bring 10+ years of experience in product design, with a significant track record in leadership positions. Deep understanding of developer tooling and the specific needs of developers in the B2B space; experience leading product design for B2B products designed for developers is highly desired. Proven ability to lead and inspire a design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design vision and strategy to all stakeholders. Experience with design systems, UX research, and incorporating user feedback into the design process.
