We believe that our differences enable us to be a better team - one that makes better decisions, drives innovation and delivers better business results.Title and SummaryData Governance Manager, People AnalyticsKey Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework for people analytics, including policies, procedures, and standards.- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing and enforcing data quality standards and best practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business units, to define data requirements and ensure data consistency across systems.- Lead data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, access model and standards.- Provide guidance and support to data stewards and data owners in the implementation of data governance practices.- Drive data literacy and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Psychology, Management or a related field.- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably within the HR or people analytics domain.- Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, and data governance platforms.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with ambiguity and independence.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Preferred Skills:- Experience with HR systems and data, such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA.Corporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
