Title: IT Software License Specialist
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Brazil (remote)
Languages: English and Portuguese
Overview:
- The IT Software License Specialist is a part of the Software Asset Management team under Enterprise Architecture, and their role is to assist managing and optimizing software licensing at Mosaic. They will help ensure compliance with licensing agreements, minimize costs, support license procurement and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Software Analysis & Cost Optimization- Generate and analyse usage data to identify underused or redundant licenses; Recommend cost-saving opportunities (e.g., license pooling, downgrades) and create reclamation tickets as needed; Support budgeting and forecasting for software spend
- License Governance & Compliance- Support software licenses tracking across departments and systems; Maintain accurate records of license entitlements and usage; Prepare for and support internal and external software audits
- Systems & Tools Administration- Use Software Asset Management (SAM) tools (ServiceNow); Integrate license data with IT asset management systems; Support administration of vendor software portals.
- Generate reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Support other EA activities as needed
Requirements:
- 14 years of experience
- Understanding of software licensing and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management preferred
