Supported and recognized on a high level in the Metso Outotec organization, this position is the sole product owner and requires a balanced combination of commercial, technical, and soft skills. This position reports to the Head of Stirred Mills & HPGR Product Group within GBP Business Line, Services.**Main Responsibilities**:Steer business plans, strategies, and tactics by developing and driving the opportunity pipeline closely to the Market Areas teams (TSS/SAM) to build sales casesSelect the best technical solution to be offered based on customer needs, competitive landscape, Market Area input, and business/profitability targetsVerify received orders and hand them over to project management, engineering, and procurementCoordinate with the Quotation and Proposals team to generate complex proposals, (technical solution, source, recommended price, format, etc.) evaluate accuracy, and drive for timely delivery to Market AreasPrioritize opportunities based on importance, size, urgency, customer needs, proposal back log, etc.Support the timely completion of GQS tickets and approvalsMake technical sales presentations with MA colleagues, visit customers when requiredTrain MA TSS teams virtually or in-person, when possible, to strength competencies.Coordinate with marketing to generate sales materials and internal communicationsSteer the product engineering teamPrioritize engineering efforts for on time delivery of parts and projects as well as product development, productization, and standardization activitiesDirect product development, determine what is funded and prioritized, develop product innovations and improvements by preparing RTD initiatives, budgets, prioritization, and drive to completion including marketing launch activitiesManage IP and navigate competitor IP to avoid infringementDirect and/or participate in SAP harmonization activities of accurate part numbers and descriptionsManage the businessTake ownership of, maintain, and increase utilization of GLP and MALP list pricingDetermine and manage inventory levels and parts location maximizing benefit to the customer while maintaining profitabilityTrack install base and competitor activity especially in targeted Market AreasContribute to annual target-setting and forecasting for the product and business lineWork as part of the global HPGR/HRC Team by coordinating and communicating with key product stake holders across the organizational matrix (e.g., Capital, procurement, Market Area heads, marketing, account managers, TS and TSS, process, finance, FSE, Proposals, Repair Centers, etc.)Key performance indicators**Financial**: Orders Received, Net Sales and Product Margin**Non-financial**: product development, GLP/MALP utilization, opportunities development, maintaining stock levels, productization and standardization,**Qualifications**:Degree or diploma in engineering, business, or similar disciplineStrong communication skills and an ability to lead and motivate othersPrior experience with HPGR products and technologies is highly preferredCompetency with SAP, Salesforce, PowerBI and Microsoft Office Suite softwareFluency in English. Spanish is an advantage.Up to 50% global travel may be required for this positionDemonstrates cooperative team effort within work group.
