About this opportunity

To support our growth and expansion plans in Brazil, as a Sr. Supervisor, Credit & Collection, this position will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Credit Services & Customer Payment operations and routines, ensuring the appropriate controls and internal policy's compliance. This position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will…

  • Leadership & influence skills, considering this position will lead credit services and customer payment teams, that includes direct reports from Align team and also third party management from external BPOs.
  • Previous experience in Collections area not only focused on companies (CNPJ's) but also on individual businesses (CPF's)
  • Responsible to deliver credit and collection reports on time.
  • Supervise the external collection agency on collection matters (management of resources and budget control).
  • Supervise the credit bureau agency (management and budget control).
  • Lead collection actions and conversations with strategic customers.
  • Guarantee the timely and properly communication with Sales Team and other stakeholders.
  • To be successful, you should possess good investigative skills backed by sound judgment.
  • Lead the preparation of the Bad Debt Reserve raising the main risks before quarter end.
  • Contribute with the continuous improvements process and closing activities.
  • Other financial projects as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

In this role, you'll need …

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in credit & collection, including people management skills
  • BS degree in finance administration, economy, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity and user experience with Protheus is desirable.
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups, from different countries around the globe.
  • English proficiency is desirable.
  • Problem solver, system oriented and strong analytical skill.
  • Detailed-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Conflict management, negotiation, ability to manage complex projects/issues
  • Ability to work with several individuals and cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to work independently and be results oriented.
