Job Title: Chief Financial Operations Manager Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our client's finance and accounting organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial operations. Key duties include: Conducting and managing accounting functions for our growing software firm. Journal entries, accruals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations. Sales tax and payroll preparation. Financial and SOC audit assistance. Financial statement generation. Cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent English verbal and written skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 4+ years of accounting experience. GAAP proficiency. Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite products. Excellent organizational skills. Proficiency operating within accounting systems. Drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and our software. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve effectively. Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind. Self-starter and resourceful. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proven experience working effectively in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment. Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent.
