Cognizant Technology Solutions is a North American IT multinational company based in New Jersey which has been in Brazil since 2009 with offices in São Paulo and Curitiba. We operate on several fronts: Digital Business, Digital Operations, Digital Systems and Technology (infrastructure, SAP, Salesforce, Mulesoft, QE&A, amongst others).
Work model: Hybrid - 3/2 days in a week.
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Oracle EBS - App Admin and Oracle Database Administration. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model with a day shift. Experience in Cards and Payments domain is a plus. The role involves managing and optimizing our Oracle systems to support our business operations.
Roles and Responsibilities and Skills/Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.x and Oracle databases 19.x administration including but not limited to patching, cloning, upgrades, installations, and implementations.
- Good knowledge on supporting Oracle technology in highly available and multiple node configurations.
- Basic understanding of Data Replication, Clustering, High Availability, etc.
- Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of DBA tools to improve the effectiveness of tasks such as performance monitoring and tuning, recovery, and database change management processing.
- Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms.
- Install, configure, monitor, upgrade and maintain MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments.
