**Location**:Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil
**Travel %**: 15%
**What you will do**
The Make Excellence Manager is responsible for leading the Operational Excellence transformation at the Site influencing at all levels to achieve world class results that supports the business growth. The Make Excellence Manager leads a team of professionals that implements continuous improvement methodologies and tools to improve manufacturing, maintenance, warehousing, and engineering processes. The MEx Manager also works with the Site Leader to define strategic iniciatives and leads the organization to achieve the strategy defined by the Supply Chain leadership.
Key Responsibilities***
- Lead and manage a team of professionals in Continuous Improvement and Industrial Engineering to guarantee the implementation of projects and strategic initiatives.
- Define, in collaboration with the Site and Regional Leadership, the continuous improvement strategy aligned with the business objectives.
- Leads the identification of cost improvement initiatives and ensures the correct implementation of projects to ensure the business competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all the organization, promoting change and innovation.
- Lead the Site governance to monitor the key processes and metrics that measure the success of the strategy.
- Lead the capability building processes that ensures the development of skills, flexibility of the operation, and compliance trainings for all the MAKE Organization.
- Collaborate with other Excellence organizations to maximize the business results.
**Qualifications**:
**What we are looking for**
Required Qualifications
- Professional in Engineering or Administration
- 3 years of experience leading areas of Continuos Improvement in industries with strong cultures of WCM, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience implementing Continuos Improvement programs and tools in Manufacturing, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Engineering areas.
- Fluent in English
- Desired Qualifications
- Master Degree is desired
- Certification in Six Sigma (green or black belt)
