Manager, Commercial Planning

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)

The Manager, Commercial Planning will support demand forecasting across all PlayStation categories (Hardware, Software, Peripherals) for the Latin America region. You will collaborate with global, regional, and local teams to develop a robust demand plan, align demand with supply, improve forecast accuracy, support new product launches, and drive S&OP processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

You will apply your business acumen, analytical skills, and organizational abilities to help scale the regional business. Reporting to the Head of Sales, LATAM, this role involves key planning activities and strategic decision-making visibility.

What You'll Do:
  1. Lead and develop a regional commercial planning team, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
  2. Develop and execute demand forecasts at various levels using historical data, market trends, and promotional inputs.
  3. Support the S&OP process by working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams for alignment.
  4. Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations to maintain coordinated demand plans.
  5. Assist in budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and sales planning, and monitor performance and variances.
  6. Support executive reporting with accurate forecasting data.
  7. Collaborate with channel teams on forecasting accuracy and current data usage.
  8. Monitor risks and opportunities affecting demand plans and communicate implications.
  9. Analyze sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models.
  10. Coordinate with global and regional planning teams for market updates.
  11. Support ad-hoc analysis and manage daily sales and planning operations.
  12. Enhance data quality through ongoing validation of sell-out and sell-through data.
  13. Understand product roadmaps for managing product transitions.
What We're Looking For:
  1. 8+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, or Sales Planning.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
  3. Previous experience managing and developing a team with strong business outcomes.
  4. Understanding of forecasting, S&OP, and commercial planning processes.
  5. Familiarity with planning tools such as SAP/IBP.
  6. Analytical mindset with strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
  8. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  9. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  10. Bilingual in English (Spanish is a plus).
