Sr BackEnd Engineer - Salesforce Bunge has an exciting opportunity available for Sr BackEnd Engineer-Salesforce. In this role you will be part of a global team working on challenging, meaningful projects impacting core business activities. The Sr BackEnd Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems for Bunge's digital products. The Sr BackEnd Engineer will work with a team of talented engineers to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and security of Bunge’s backend services. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and APIs using industry-standard frameworks. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code. Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and specifications. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, and implement solutions to resolve them. Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and best practices, and share knowledge with the team. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and codebase. Ensure that backend systems are optimized for performance and scalability. Guide teammates on developing efficient and secure backend components. Establish and promote best practices, standards and guidelines related to back-end engineering for Bunge technology products. Requirements: Strong proficiency in SalesForce backend programming, including Apex, with ability to write complex Apex code for custom logic and triggers. Understanding of Lightning Web Components. Experience with building RESTful and SOAP APIs. Deep understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud standard data models. Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns. Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (including Unit Testing and Debugging, CI/CD pipeline with automated testing). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree with 6 - 10 years of position related experience, or equivalent combo of education and experience level. Experience with working in agile projects. Fluency in English. Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II). Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
