Futurex is seeking talented individuals for the position of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This position is on-site at Futurex's office at São Paulo/SP - Brazil.

This position offers an opportunity for passionate, motivated, and driven individuals to join our team of world-class engineers and assist in quality assurance for Futurex's line of innovative, hardware-based cryptographic solutions.

In the SDET role, your responsibilities will center on software automated testing. You will ensure the robustness of the company's test automation initiatives aimed at ensuring the software quality of our products. You will carry out functional integration testing between the company's applications, products, and services. Success in this role will be determined by your ability to successfully perform end-to-end testing using automation processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess and understand the flow of code and its interaction with various processes;
  2. Document processes and client demands for process improvement;
  3. Log, manage, and track user issues and cases;
  4. Develop new and extend current testing frameworks;
  5. Perform automated and manual regression testing;
  6. Troubleshoot bugs and other issues on desktop and web-based platforms;
  7. Test automation development, execution, and script troubleshooting.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development or related field;
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  3. Ability to identify risks and errors in applications;
  4. Python proficiency;
  5. SQL experience;
  6. Selenium experience;
  7. Rest API experience;
  8. Linux/Bash experience;
  9. Fundamentals of TCP/IP networking;
  10. English language proficiency.
Strongly Preferred Experience
  1. Jenkins experience;
  2. Docker experience;
  3. Jenkins, Gitlab and/or other CI pipeline experience;
  4. Java Script experience;
  5. C++ experience;
  6. Knowledge of Micro Service architecture and testing;
  7. Knowledge of Kubernetes;
  8. MitMproxy experience;
  9. Groovy experience.
