The primary responsibility of the Accountant role involves understanding local accounting principles and preparing a comprehensive list of compliances in collaboration with a consultant if required. This includes ensuring adherence to these requirements, preparing local financial records, raising customer invoices within the local system, managing intercompany invoices, processing vendor invoices, handling fixed assets, and addressing provisions. Furthermore, the Accountant will oversee payroll management with the assistance of a consultant to guarantee timely payment of salaries to employees, including final settlements as processed by the shared services team. Additionally, they will handle employee claims and ensure their timely payment. Maintenance of accurate financial records aligning with SAP protocols is essential for this role. The Accountant will reconcile these records with the help of a consultant and the shared services team. They will also be responsible for timely preparation of financial statements based on local GAAP and facilitate audited financial reports within corporate timelines. A basic understanding of working knowledge of SAP is preferred for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
