We are looking for a **INTERN - MARKET OPERATIONS** based in **CHILE** which aims to optimize current middle and back-office processes in Chile at the Python/Excel level, identifying inefficiencies in the data process of the PPA Performance and power system operation analysis of the team, proposing and implementing solutions to decrease computing timing and lag.
**What challenges will you face?**
- Optimize trading tools in Chile to reduce file size for the Chilean fleet: PPA trading tool analytics, short-term power system operation projections, and curtailment instructions, among others.
- Propose solutions for organizing information on the Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional to assist the team in the value-creation process.
- Create documentation tutorials for the team to use the Python codes after the internship ends.
**What specific knowledge do you need?**
- Pursuing a Bachelor'sBachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- At least in 5th year of its studies program
- Power System Operation course approved
- Knowledge of Panda library (Python)
- Power System Operation and Control knowledge
