What you can expect from the role?
- _ To be responsible for the delivery of the annual strategic plan for Brazil with a global multicultural team of direct reports and local marketing business partners_
- _ Act as the primary interface with supply chain, finance and customer development._
- _ Manage the relationship with key market stakeholders and act as the primary contact and interface for B&J delivery. Arrange regular local business reviews and deliver updated scorecard for the market that enable the CEO and broader management team to track performance and contribute to needed corrective actions._
- _ Drive new channel development (e-commerce, delivery, etc.) and customer innovation by leveraging best practices and real time learnings globally_
- _ Develop targeted, channel specific strategies and partner with Customer Development for a select group of key "global" or large-scale customers_
- _ Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) developing the needed innovation activity program by market and define the key jobs to be done that the global innovation and communication team will deliver towards. Drive the flavor rotation and shelf management process for each key market._
- _ Work closely with the Global Social Mission Officer to integrate the social mission in each community and fund and deliver the agreed social mission activity program. Facilitate local alignment and approvals for social mission campaigns_
- _ Drive B&J culture through the retail teams and franchisee community, making sure it is at the heart of all of the strategic decisions. To be the retail face of the brand and represent who we are & what we stand for._
- _ Lead collaboration with global Ben and Jerry's community to ensure the retail strategy and deployment of the strategy are aligned with overall company vision._
- _ Leading the ongoing development of existing and new initiatives to achieve Ben & Jerry's racial equity commitments throughout retail and our network of independent scoop shops._
- _ Lead the reporting of syndicated data, competitive intelligence, and consumer research to achieve business insights and facilitate marketing program development_
- _ Work in partnership with Consumer Insights to identify emerging trends, consumer needs and/or behaviors that provide insights leading to marketing programs and flavor opportunities_
- _ Utilize systems, processes and_ communication/reporting_ methods for project management, budgets, forecasting and marketing programs_
- _ Exhibit commitment to the company's social mission and Marketing's vital role in delivering all three elements of Ben & Jerry's three-part mission statement_
- _ To manage an incredible team of Associate Brand Managers, Social Mission Manager, Assistant Brand Manager and interns_
- _ To Travel is expected approx. 5% of your time_
Does this sound like you?
- _ We are looking for someone with experience in Brand Building, Brand Development or Category Management._
- _ Have proven experience in developing and implementing effective and integrated Brand Marketing Plans delivering top and bottom line, leveraging global framework and executing brilliant breakthrough activation in market_
- _ Experience in full P&L ownership and accountability._
- _ Strong & proven manager of others with a passion for capability building. Ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional team_
- _ Must have strong influence and negotiation skills and be comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior level management and key stakeholders_
- _ Commercial acumen and cross functional understanding and capabilities_
- _ Excellent competencies in marketing, digital, program development and implementation._
