Overview Country Manager - Brazil role at Bitso Brasil . As Bitso’s Country Manager for Brazil, you will be the face of our business in one of the most important markets in Latin America. This role is at the heart of Bitso’s mission: making crypto useful and accessible to millions of people. You will ensure our global strategies are adapted to local needs, lead regulatory and corporate affairs, build relationships with customers and partners, and help drive business growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the crypto ecosystem in Brazil, working with a high-impact team across Latin America. What You Will Do Act as Bitso’s primary spokesperson in Brazil with media, regulators, clients, partners, and the community. Lead market intelligence efforts, providing ongoing insights about customer behavior, competitors, regulation, and the economy. Translate local insights into actionable go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with Bitso’s global Retail and Business teams. Represent Bitso before regulators and serve as legal representative for regulated entities in Brazil. Build strong relationships with government authorities, regulators, and industry associations. Champion customer needs locally, ensuring Bitso’s global product suite delivers a seamless and relevant experience for Brazilian users. Support Bitso Business (B2B) and Retail growth by engaging with strategic clients, partners, and influencers. Drive community engagement by collaborating with Marketing and Comms teams to design and execute local events and campaigns. Actively contribute to regional and global planning, ensuring Brazil’s perspective and needs are included in company-wide strategies. Who You Are Proven track record in building and leading teams, preferably in fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services. Strong understanding of the Brazilian regulatory and financial ecosystem, including relationships with regulators, banks, payment institutions, and fintech associations. Experience as a public spokesperson, with demonstrable success engaging with media, regulators, and senior stakeholders. Strategic business development background, with experience negotiating partnerships and supporting sales pipelines. Ability to synthesize complex local trends into actionable strategies and communicate them clearly to global leadership. Experience working cross-functionally in regional or global organizations, balancing local priorities with global objectives. Legal and compliance awareness, able to act as legal representative with personal accountability. Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (Spanish desirable). Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and passion for crypto and Bitso’s mission. Your Team You will collaborate closely with Bitso’s General Managers (Retail and Bitso Business), as well as global functions such as Policy, Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations.
