Job Title A highly skilled professional is sought to lead a team in charge of maintaining the operational health of our systems. About the Role The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps and SRE, with experience operating hybrid cloud + on-premise / edge systems. They will be responsible for leading the Platform Operations team across Brazil and Portugal, ensuring the deployed systems are monitored, stable, recoverable, and well-understood by the rest of the business. Monitor the health of live systems across sites and proactively identify stability risks. Help drive improvements in edge hardware reliability, network stability, server provisioning consistency, and observability for both cloud and on-prem components. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, implementation, and customer-facing teams. The candidate must also be able to write and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and operational documentation. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Leading and growing the Platform Operations team across Brazil and Portugal. Building a high-performing follow-the-sun operational capability that supports both internal teams and customers. Establishing clear daily operational rhythms, including alert review, ticket management, and incident response. Requirements To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones. Excellent communication in English and Portuguese. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, implementation, and customer-facing teams. Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities. Bonus Points Hands-on experience with Datadog or similar observability platforms.
