Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines, which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
Our Search Operations team supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content which could include (but are not limited to) images of violence, animal cruelty, hate speech, violent extremism, or content that exploits or endangers children. The team plays a vital role in analyzing user searches and search strategy optimization to ensure a positive and safe user experience for our community.
What will I be doing?
- Working in the Data Service team to ensure achievement of key data delivery targets (e. g. productivity;quality;latency) are met for projects under Search Recommendation projects
- Responsible for policy/guideline and SOP implementation and clarification to ensure better understanding and performance of daily moderation
- Work closely with POC and other stakeholders in order to provide feedback on data quality/SOP/policy/guideline and ensure overall success of projects
- Support training/calibration and go-live process within Search Recommendation team
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Excellent language skills, (Market language & English)
- Familiar with video editing and processing tools, social media platforms and search engines
- Deep understanding of local culture/trend, familiar with users' online habits/preferences
- Good communication skills, experience in cross-team collaboration, eager to learn
- QA experience of moderation project, familiarity with RCA methodology is a plus
- Willing to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to violence or sexual content
**Willing to work shifts including weekends**
**Qualifications**:
What should I bring with me?
1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. Excellent language skills, speaking, writing and reading (Spanish & English)
3. Familiar with QA and data delivery process.
4. Overseas working/training is a plus
5. Knowledge about AI or related models, familiar with social media platforms.
6. An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users
7. Strong ability to learn and understand
8. Familiar with common office software, evaluating experience is preferred
