OverviewPosition: HR Manager – Brazil. This role has 3 direct reports and is critical in aligning HR practices with business objectives, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a high-performance culture in a multinational environment. Reports to the HR Director – Latin America and, indirectly, to the Country Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic HR Leadership, Culture & Engagement: Partner with Regional HR Director, local HR team, and Brazil business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Conduct compensation and benefits analysis to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support HR budgeting processes, including preparation, monitoring, and review of departmental budgets and P&L statements.
- Utilize HR data and analytics to generate insights, support decision-making, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Employee Relations: Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor laws and corporate policies.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions with fairness and consistency.
- Talent & Performance Development: Implement performance management systems and support leadership in coaching and feedback.
- Promote learning and development programs tailored to local and global needs.
- Lead employee engagement surveys and action planning.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment processes for key roles, ensuring diverse and high-quality talent pipelines.
- Lead onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- English required. Spanish is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills. Certification in Data Analysis and/or Compensation will be highly valuable.
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in multinational or matrixed organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Oracle preferred), Microsiga Totvs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
