Scope & responsibilities Monitoring, maintaining, and managing the physical infrastructure of a data center ensuring smooth operation, reliability, and security. Monitoring power, cooling systems, and network connectivity. Hardware and system software debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues. Responding to alerts, performing preventive maintenance, rolling out and upgrading firmware versions, and managing any issues that may arise to minimize downtime and optimize data availability. Serving as the customer’s Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and opening hardware trouble tickets against different vendors. Daily system administration tasks including granting and deleting access. Investigating and correcting hardware defects in the cluster, adhering to the service levels. Resolving errors through developing, testing, and implementing changes to the system. Performing software and firmware testing for any fixes, upgrades, and security patches. Updating the customer’s documentation when and as necessary to reflect the changes made to the system. Compiling monthly reporting and participating in monthly customer service reviews where required. Eligibility Experience in system troubleshooting, monitoring, and support. Experience in system administration. Experience in hardware support, hardware break‑fix, hardware replacements, and installations. Fluency in English and Portuguese languages. Able to perform OS installation and upgrades with no supervision. Able to perform high level problem determination. Customer service skills including written and oral communication with clients.
