Role summary As Finance Manager, you are the financial steward and strategic business partner for our Brazilian operations. You own the full financial agenda: steering, planning, forecasting, and business performance management. You serve as a critical advisor to the Country Manager and the Brazilian leadership team. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our Doctoralia Brazil business journey, blending hands-on financial excellence with strategic influence. You would drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure data-driven decision-making at every level. You’ll be part of the Doctoralia Brazil Management Team, reporting directly to Juliana López (CEO Brazil) with a dotted line to Gervasio Gari (Global VP Finance). Must-have 5 or more years of relevant Finance experience, with at least 3 years in an FP&A or commercial finance role Proven FP&A expertise, leading the budgeting process and creating models to support it Strong analytical skills Deep Excel modelling experience and ideally some exposure to BI and EPM tools Well-rounded profile, comfortable with reporting, controlling, accounting, tax, and labor topics Native Portuguese and advanced English Nice to have Experience in a start-up or tech environment at a SaaS company Experience in Transaction Services, Valuations, or Audit at a Big Four firm Soft skills Start-up mindset. You are dynamic, willing to multitask, and ready to get into the details Proactive approach. You will receive guidance, but this is a senior role and does not need constant direction Structured and organized. Able to create clear plans and presentations Hard-working, ambitious, and focused on deadlines and results Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable presenting to a range of audiences Leadership skills and genuine care about company values. Here’s what the process usually looks like (though it might vary slightly depending on the role): As part of our pre-screening process, we ask candidates to complete an SHL assessment to check numerical reasoning skills. This is a short online test that takes no longer than 20 minutes to complete. Intro Chat – A first call with our Talent Acquisition Partner to explore mutual fit around relevant skills, value alignment, and motivation. Hiring Manager Interview – A deeper dive into your experience and aspirations with the relevant hiring manager. Take this chance to ask anything on your mind—it’s just as much about making sure we’re the right fit for you, too. Country Manager Interview – Further discussion and opportunity to ask any of those burning questions to the Country Manager - Brazil. VP Finance Interview – A strategic conversation with our global finance leader to explore your approach to driving financial excellence, leadership, and impact. Case Study – A practical assignment, delivered to a panel including the finance leadership to showcase your skills and priorities. You will be given time to prepare and refine your presentation beforehand.
