Murex Financial Operations Specialist

At a leading Murex Alliance Partner and market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration, we provide end-to-end project services with over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors.
Whether you have a background in finance or technology, your experience in the capital markets industry would be highly valued.
- Candidates will learn Murex application while performing responsibilities including:
- Resolving daily issues on functional, valuation, and pricing
- Validating pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)
- Liaising with technical teams to resolve related issues and enhancements
- Developing business requirements per given stream and according to project needs
- Managing yield curve assignments, new curve creation, and curve validation
- Product management and validation for IRD, CRD, EQD
- Managing day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various deliverables-
- Contributing to existing support groups in resolving P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
- Analyzing, formulating, proposing, developing, and contributing to overall solutions as per project deliverables
- Following up on new market regulations and practices globally
- Performing various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participating in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
Key Skills:
- Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD
- Equity derivatives knowledge, particularly portfolio swaps and bond swaps
- Product implementation experience
- Strong understanding of P&L concepts and its components
- Hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
- Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Presentation skills
- Relationship building skills internally and externally
- Experience in supporting users and resolving their daily issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience on Murex with functionalities/module
- Experience in financial markets
- Strong personality, logical, and analytical skills
- Detailed-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
